Notice of intent to make a determination

Stoney East & West Morley Waterline and Cistern Project – Public Comments Invited

April 12, 2024, – Indigenous Services Canada must determine whether the Stoney East & West Morley Waterline and Cistern Project located in Stoney Nakoda Nation, Alberta is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, Indigenous Services Canada is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination.

The Proposed Project

The project will consist of installing new cisterns, new gravity watermain distribution expansion systems (west & NE), and new pressurized east watermain distribution expansion system in Stoney Nakoda Nation, Alberta.
