Tobey Dock Reconstruction

The project involves the removal of the existing dock and installation of a new dock that can better withstand ice and wave movement. The contractor will remove the existing floating dock, finger piers and anchors, remove the existing wooden cribs and rocks within the crib and all materials associated with the existing dock.
The new dock will be installed in the same location and will consist of steel sheet piling and steel beams for the cribs and main support system. Decking will be precast concrete for the main portion of the dock. Floating docks and finger piers will extend off the main dock.
All work will be conducted in the fall of 2021.
