Inland Pacific Connector Pipeline Project (Archived)

British Columbia

Description: BC Gas has submitted a proposal to construct and operate 232 km of natural gas pipeline, mainline compressor stations and associated works. The pipeline would extend from Oliver in the Okanagan Valley to Huntingdon in the lower Fraser Valley.

Federal Responsible Authority(ies): Fisheries and Oceans Canada (lead) and Indian and Northern Affairs Canada. This project is being jointly reviewed with the British Columbia Environmental Assessment Office.

Status: The environmental assessment was terminated on July 7, 2011 because the proponent had withdrawn the project.
