The Impact Assessment Agency of Canada provides training on impact assessment to inform the public about impact assessment in Canada, and to assist the federal government and others in meeting their obligations under the
Impact Assessment Act, 2019 (IAA 2019).
Working in partnership with experts, practitioners and Indigenous peoples, the Agency develops and delivers a variety of training opportunities adapted to its targeted audiences to ensure it meets the needs of the learners.
Your training needs may vary depending on whether you are a member of the public who wants to learn more about impact assessments in Canada, Indigenous Groups or federal government employees.
The Training Program is divided into three levels:
