The Proposed Project

Nordmin Resource and Industrial Engineering Ltd. proposes to construct, operate, decommission and reclaim a gold/silver mine, and a milling complex near Channel-Port aux Basques, located in Newfoundland and Labrador. As proposed, the Cape Ray Gold Project would include both underground and open-pit mining operations with a combined ore production capacity of approximately 2100 tonnes per day, over a mine life of five to eight years. Additional project components would include a tailings management facility, mine haul roads, mine infrastructure, and the improvement of an existing 22-kilometre long access road.
