North American Lithium Spodumene Mine Project — Additional Federal Funding Allocated

March 9, 2017 — The Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency (the Agency) has allocated $16,957 in additional federal funds to six recipients to assist their participation in the environmental assessment of the proposed North American Lithium Spodumene Mine Project, located in Quebec.

The funding was made available through the Agency's Participant Funding Program. It will enable the participation of the public and Indigenous groups in upcoming steps of the environmental assessment, which include reviewing and providing comments on the Agency's Comprehensive Study Report.
