Hearing Schedule for Roberts Bank Terminal 2 Project Public Hearing

OTTAWA, May 06, 2019 –The schedule of presentations for the Public Hearing for the proposed Roberts Bank Terminal 2 Project (the Project) is now available. The hearing will begin at 9am, Tuesday,May 14, 2019, in Delta, British Columbia.

The schedule is posted to the Canadian Environmental Assessment Registry at: https://ceaa-acee.gc.ca/050/evaluations/document/129563?culture=en-CA.

The hearing will take place over six weeks with sessions scheduled in Delta, Vancouver, and in communities on Vancouver Island. If during the hearing there are changes made to the schedule, participants will be notified of the updated schedule.

The Review Panel established to conduct the environmental assessment for the proposed Roberts Bank Terminal 2 Project will be present at each of the hearing sessions to listen to presentations and to ask questions. The public hearing is designed to gather additional information on all topics related to the proposed construction and operation of a new three-berth marine container terminal located at Roberts Bank in Delta. The Panel will use all information on the record, including information gathered during the public hearing, to inform its analysis and panel report.

The hearing is open to the public to observe in person or via a live webcast and/or audio-cast at: https://freeman.streamme.ca/ceaa2019.

Media are also invited to observe the public hearing and do not need to register in advance.
