Notice of Commencement of an Environmental Assessment

Ottawa – January 18, 2013 - The Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency (the Agency) commenced an environmental assessment pursuant to the Canadian Environmental Assessment Act, 2012 (CEAA 2012) for the Bingay Main Coal Project located near Elkford, British Columbia.

On January 17, the Agency decided that a federal environmental assessment was required.
