The Proposed Project

Pembina Pipeline Corporation is proposing to remediate an area with confirmed residual petroleum hydrocarbon impacts located within a Pembina right-of way crossing Alexis Nakota Sioux Nation. The remedial plan is to excavate and transport contaminated soils for off-Site disposal at an approved licensed facility, backfill the excavation with clean, suitable fill material, complete surface reclamation and install a groundwater monitoring network.
