Aundeck Omni Kaning First Nation New Housing – Public Comments Invited

October 17, 2019 – Indigenous Services Canada must determine whether the proposed Aundeck Omni Kaning First Nation New Housing, located in Aundeck Omni Kaning First Nation is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, Indigenous Services Canada is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination.

The Proposed Project

Aundeck Omni Kaning First Nation is looking at building a new home on Lot 15-16, concession 8 at 148 Lake Road. The house is 1000 square feet and will be serviced by a septic tank. Hydro and municipal water will be provided to the house. All waste generated fom the project will be disposed of in an approved landfill site.
