The Proposed Project

Sagamok Anishnabek First Nation is presently examinig the feasability of building a new school in their territory. During the study, a location was determined which would be suitable for this new school. In order to potentially move forward with the construction at a later date, the community will need to clear trees from the lot to ensure minimal disruption of migratory birds in the area. A building will potentially be constructed, pending available funding, connected to propane gas, and have water serviced by the community water system. A septic system will also be installed, and hydro will be extended tot he lot line. At this time, it is estimated that the buildign will exceed 1,000m2.
