The Proposed Project:

The project will replace 23 culverts and reconstruct and resurface sections of roads in Chippewas of Nawash First Nation, Ontario. A total of 15 crossing culverts and 8 driveway culverts will be replaced and possibly upsized, which will also include cleaning out and regrading ditches, applying measures to prevent erosion of drainage inlets and outlets, relocating utilities, and reconstructing (2000 square metres) and resurfacing (400 square metres) sections of roads. The project will improve road safety and reliability, prevent future flooding and road washouts, and increase the service life of assets.
