The Proposed Project

Design and replace the existing Pumphouse No. 2 (water treatment plant and reservoir) that is connected to the groundwater collection and community distribution system, to include necessary improvements. The reservoir will be redesigned to include the necessary connecting waterlines, electrical/SCADA and mechanical infrastructure to ensure successful operation of the facility. Pumphouse No. 2 will be decommissioned and the site, remediated as part of the upgrading to a new water treatment facility.

Additional future works are anticipated to upgrade other components of the system, including several new groundwater wells. Preliminary design and site selection for these project components will be submitted in an amendment to the Project Description, once confirmed.
