Esgenoopetitj First Nation Lift Station Upgrades – Public Comments Invited

February 26, 2021 – Indigenous Services Canada must determine whether the proposed Esgenoopetitj First Nation Lift Station Upgrades, located in Esgenoopetitj First Nation, NB is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, Indigenous Services Canada is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination.

The Proposed Project

The project includes the complete replacement of Lift Station No. 5, and smaller upgrades to Lift Stations 1, 2, 3.  Activities include replacement and repair of sections of the gravity sewer along existing easements, driveway upgrades as well as a new prefabricated building and associated components for Lift station #5.
