Notice of determination for the Cote Solid Waste Transfer Station

February 26, 2021 - Indigenous Services Canada has determined that the proposed Cote Solid Waste Transfer Station is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

The determination was based on a consideration of the following factors:

-the new solid waste transfer station will serve the community of Cote First Nation, and be of benefit to the membership
  -review of design drawings and specifications
  -no comments were received from the public about the project
  -mitigation measures are required for the project

Implementation of the following mitigation measures is required for the project:

-minimal brush clearing

Indigenous Services Canada is satisfied that the carrying out of the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
