Subdivision, Phase III – Tobique First Nation – Public Comments Invited
March 4, 2021 – Indigenous Services Canada must determine whether the proposed Subdivision, Phase III-Tobique First Nation project, located in Tobique IR 20 is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, Indigenous Services Canada is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination.

The Proposed Project
The objectives of the proposed Subdivision, Phase III-Tobique First Nation project are focused on establishing a residential subdivision for the community. The project's primary objectives are as follows:
- Construction of a new +/- 500 m roadway to service up to 25 lots. Work includes servicing the new roadway with water services from the Reservoir Road extension and sanitary servicing from Main Street through a new trunk sewer to the new subdivision.
- New 20.0 m wide right-of-way with a 10.0 m wide roadway and roadside ditches to convey runoff.
