Blood Tribe AKERS & North Community Infrastructure Development Project – Public Comments Invited
April 26, 2021 – Indigenous Services Canada must determine whether the proposed Blood Tribe AKERS & North Community Infrastructure Development Project located on Blood Tribe reserve lands is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, Indigenous Services Canada is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination.

The Proposed Project
Blood Tribe plans to construct servicing infrastructure for the AKERS and North Community Development projects. Infrastructure development will include the construction of wells, a raw water pipeline, treated water pipelines, a sanitary lift station, a sanitary force main pipe, a wastewater treatment lagoon, and an outfall pipe.
