The proposed amendment

Carlson Construction Group proposes to carry out physical activities related to the installation of support piles and repairs to timber components, and the installation of a new geotube until December 31, 2022. This would require an extension to the approved Vito Shipyard Wharf Repairs permit (PER No. 20-010), which has an expiry date of December 31, 2021.

Due to emergency works taking priority, i.e., repairs to critical wharf components of the existing wharf facility, the project will not be completed prior to December 31, 2021. There are no changes to construction activities or the scope of the work outlined in the approved permit (available here).
