The Royal Canadian Mounted Police must determine whether the proposed Technical and Protective Operations Facility (TPOF) Training Compounds, located in Ottawa, is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

To help inform this determination, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public. For more information, individuals should consult the Privacy Notice on the Registry website.

The Proposed Project

The erection of three multiple two level self-supporting containers dedicated Scenario Based Training Compounds with identical training structures set up on the TPOF Campus to meet operational needs for CBRNE. The compounds will be prefabricated units secured to the site via a foundation support as designed by the design team.
