The Proposed Project

The Peepeekisis Community Hub Gas Bar is being added to the SW corner of the community centre site immediately in front of the existing convenience store.

As per the attached drawings, the gas bar will consist of two above ground tanks (Tank 1 - 30,000 litres diesel, 20,000 litres premium & Tank 2 - 75,000 litres regular) on concrete footings, transition sump, off loader on concrete pad, chain link fence, buried petroleum pipes, 4 fuel dispensers (Wayne Ovation 3+1 dispensers c/w containment sump and monitoring sensor), a roof canopy, concrete slab and control and power connections to the existing convenience store in the Community Centre.

Next steps are the completion of site preparation and construction. Operations will begin in the spring of 2022. Construction waste will be disposed of in the Peepeekisis landfill. The site is bordered on the west and south sides by a built up road. The feature on the east and north are the Peepeekisis Community Centre submitted earlier in a separate submission.
