Notice of Determination

March 11, 2022 – ADM Aéroports de Montréal has determined that the project for the work for the construction of taxiways connected to Runway 24R-06L (North runway) at YUL Montreal-Trudeau International Airport is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects by applying the mitigation measures provided for in the project.

This determination was based on a consideration of the following factors:

• Technically and economically feasible mitigation measures;
• Community knowledge;
• Comments received from the public, and
• Impacts on rights of Indigenous peoples.

Mitigation measures taken into account for this determination are based primarily on the following components of the physical environment:

• Air quality
• Water quality
• Soil quality
• The fauna and flora present

The measures identified to mitigate the environmental impacts will be implemented by the developer. Accordingly, ADM Aéroports de Montréal may carry out the project and Transport Canada may exercise its powers to allow the project to proceed.
