In accordance with the Impact Assessment Act, the Commission of the Canada Energy Regulator (Commission) has determined that the portion of the Foothills Zone 8 West Path Delivery 2023 Project located on federal lands is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

In making its determination with respect to the project on federal lands, the Commission considered the factors listed in subsection 84(1) of the Impact Assessment Act.
