April 11, 2022 – Saguenay Port Authority must determine whether the proposed Minor Rehabilitation of the Wharf and replacement of the docking fenders system on the Terminal is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

To help inform this determination, Saguenay Port Authority is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public [and may be posted online]. For more information, individuals should consult the Privacy Notice on the Registry website.

The Project :

The project mainly involves replacing the fender system on the Marcel-Dionne wharf, at the Grande-Anse Marine Terminal. The activities related to the project are the repair of concrete surfaces, the drilling of anchors and the installation of extruded D-shaped fenders as well as new corner fenders made from recycled tires.
