Stoney Morley Rapid Housing Project – Public Comments Invited

May 27, 2022  – Indigenous Services Canada must determine whether the proposed Stoney Morley Rapid Housing Project located in Stoney First Nation is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, Indigenous Services Canada is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination.

The Proposed Project

Stoney Nakoda Nation plans to construct one new housing unit. The proposed project would involve the construction of a house and the clearing of some forest to build a 200m long driveway.
