Notice of Time Limit Extension

Ottawa – July 18, 2022 – On July 14, 2022, the Impact Assessment Agency of Canada (the Agency) granted an extension to the three-year time limit for Public Services and Procurement Canada (the proponent) to provide the required information or studies described in the Final Environmental Impact Statement Guidelines for the environmental assessment of the Timiskaming Dam-Bridge of Quebec Replacement Project.

The Agency has taken this action further to a written request from the proponent (in French only) that the time limit be extended by three years. The reasons for the Agency's determination are provided in its response to the proponent (in French only). 

The new deadline for the proponent to provide the required information or studies described in the Final Environmental Impact Statement Guidelines is August 28, 2025.
