Chiller and Dry-Cooler Replacement – Public Comments Invited

August 23, 2022 – The authorities must determine whether the proposed Chiller and Dry-Cooler Replacement, located in Ottawa, ON is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

To help inform this determination, the authorities are inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public and may be posted online.

The Proposed Project

The replacement of 3 existing chillers and 4 fluid coolers that serve the data center cooling plant, along with other modifications to the existing cooling plant. The cooling towers to be removed and the dry coolers to be installed are located in an area next to the building on a small lawn bordered by the paved service road.
