The Proposed Project

The Department of National Defence (DND) has proposed a project which involves work execution as well as labour supply, materials and tools necessary for the mobile aircraft fire training area relocation. Work includes the existing equipment dismantling such as concrete slab, bollards, propane pipes and power lines as well as the development of a new gravel area 1,326 square meters in size, and about 265 meters of linear gravel roads around it. The project also involves the construction of a 2-meter by 8-meter concrete slab to accommodate the propane tank to be relocated, a 2-meter by 2-meter concrete slab for the services box and the propane pipe and electric line installation. The tank concrete slab will be fenced off. Excavation, stripping and backfilling work are scheduled as well.
