The Greater Toronto Airports Authority (GTAA) needs to determine if the proposed borehole investigation is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.To help inform this decision, the GTAA invites public comment regarding this decision. The Proposed Project: 

A closed loop borehole ground source heat pump system is being considered to meet a portion of the Terminal's heating and cooling demands. A test borehole is to be installed to investigate and measure the thermal properties of the ground surface and a deep depth. This project is to drill one test borehole 108-152 diameter to approximately 260m deep (850 ft).
