The proposed amendment

The permit holder, the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority's Marine Operations department, has requested an extension to the expiry date of the approved project permit (PER No. 21-122) to complete the connection of the current sensor cables. The request is intended to align the project schedule with another construction project at Pembina Wharves Terminal as they finish their marine dock upgrades. The original permit approved the installation of two, 15 metre long, 30 inch piles attached with 2 Acoustic Doppler Current Profilers (ADCPs), approximately 25 metres south west of Calamity Light and the installation of a prefabricated data collection and equipment shed at the south west corner of Pembina Wharves Terminal.
