Community Resource Centre – Public Comments Invited

April 5th, 2023Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada (CIRNAC) must determine whether the proposed Community Resource Centre, located in Bird, MB is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

To help inform this determination, Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada (CIRNAC) is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public and may be posted online.

The Proposed Project

Fox Lake Cree Nation will establish a resource centre that offers a safe space for youth and community members to learn new skills, celebrate identities, and practice traditional and cultural values. The Community Resource Centre will be a one-story building that includes multi-purpose room, kitchen, and distance classrooms.
