Construction of new fire station – Wemotaci - Public Comments Invited

April 12, 2023 – Indigenous Services Canada must determine whether the proposed project "construction of new fire station", located in Wemotaci is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

To help inform this determination, Indigenous Services Canada is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public and may be posted online.

The Proposed Project

 

Construction of a new fire station, including an administration building, 3 loading bays and parking spaces. The project is located at the intersection of Wemotaci Street and Future Street in the community's new EAST development. The footprint of this project is 3600 m².
