Québec – May 26, 2023 – Indigenous Services Canada has determined that the proposed Thonnakana Grand Chief Street Extension Project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

This determination was based on a consideration of the following factors:

• technically and economically feasible mitigation measures.

• Protection of migratory birds
• Surface water protection
• Fish Habitat Protection
• Wetland
• Soil protection
• Air protection
• Well-being and safety of the population
• Wildlife protection
• Flora protection
• Carrying-out compensatory works
