The total area is 2, 457m2

The DOCFS prevention building will consist of a large program area (central), a teaching kitchen with ample storage for security practices, full-size gymnasium, youth, and feast area, additional program and training rooms, and a round cultural room. As well, as an outdoor gathering space, and learning space, with access to land-based learning infrastructure. Other programs include staff offices, a fitness room, a garage & storage room for tools and vehicles, and a new parking and gravel road to accommodate access to the CFS facility.

The project is in Treaty One Territory, the traditional territories of the Anishinabe, Cree, and Dakota people, the homeland of the Métis Nation and within the Recognized Métis Harvesting Zone (Manitoba Metis Federation 2021).
