Notice — Transition of Decision Statements under section 306 of the Budget Implementation Act, 2024

The Minister of the Environment has determined, pursuant to section 306 of the Budget Implementation Act, 2024, that the Decision Statements issued for the 36 Designated Projects listed below contain conditions that could have been included in a Decision Statement issued under subsection 65(1) of the amended Impact Assessment Act (IAA). This determination was made in consideration of the types of projects, the amendments to the IAA, and the assessment reports prepared for each of the projects listed in this notice. Therefore, these Decision Statements are deemed to be Decision Statements issued under section 65(1) of the amended IAA, as of today.
