The proposed project

The Applicant proposes to install two steel piles to support the addition of an already-built boat shed to an existing dock on the southwest side of the Main Street dock. To accommodate the boat shed, the project would require relocating an existing finger dock shoreward (to the east). The piles would be installed using vibratory or impact pile-driving equipment. Construction will be completed from a marine derrick anchored in place using spuds. Works will be conducted during the Fisheries and Oceans Canada least-risk timing window for the Burrard Inlet (August 16 through February 28).
