Notice of Commencement of an Impact Assessment
October 17, 2024 — The Impact Assessment Agency of Canada is re-posting this Notice of Commencement of an Impact Assessment in accordance with the Notice of Transition
Ottawa — October 17, 2024 — On August 18, 2023, the Impact Assessment Agency of Canada (IAAC) commenced an impact assessment pursuant to the Impact Assessment Act for the Northern Road Link Project (the project).
On May 23, 2023, IAAC decided that a federal impact assessment was required and posted the Notice of Impact Assessment Decision with Reasons.
IAAC has issued the following documents to the proponent to guide the development of the Impact Statement and the conduct of the impact assessment for the project:
- Tailored Impact Statement Guidelines
- Indigenous Engagement and Partnership Plan
- Public Participation Plan
- Cooperation Plan
- Permitting Plan
