Notice of Time Limit Suspension with Reasons

Ottawa — January 7, 2025 — On December 23, 2024, the Impact Assessment Agency of Canada (IAAC) suspended the 180-day time limit for the planning phase under the Impact Assessment Act for the Rocky Creek Metallurgical Coal Project proposed by CTI Plus Resources Ltd. (the proponent).

IAAC has taken this action in consideration of a written request from the proponent that the time limit be suspended in order that it may have sufficient time to provide a response to the federal matters identified in the Joint Summary of Issues and Engagement.

When the proponent has provided IAAC with its responses to the Joint Summary of Issues and Engagement, IAAC will post a notice that the prescribed activity is completed, and the 180-day time limit will resume.
