The Proposed Project
Alberta First Responders Radio Communications Systems is proposing the installation of a replacement radiocommunication tower with antennas, for a communication network for first responders in municipal, provincial and First Nations agencies across the province of Alberta. The proposed tower is 35 meters in height, which is replacing a uncertified 38 meter tower located on the Stoney First Nation #143, 144, and 145 Reserve. The installation will include two 4.1 meter collinear pole antennas operating in the 700-800 MHz band will be mounted at the top the tower. These antennas will be offset horizontally from each other by 4 meters. This system is designed to allow agencies to share talk groups allowing inter-agency communications. This replacement tower may undergo other periodic antenna additions or replacements, as required for any Radiocommunication service.
