Membertou Supportive Living – Public Comments Invited
April 16, 2025 – Indigenous Services Canada and the Canadian Mortgage and Housing Coperation (CMHC) must determine whether the proposed Membertou Supportive Living project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
To help inform this determination, Indigenous Services Canada and CMHC is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public and may be posted online.

The Proposed Project
The project will include the construction of two residential buildings (185m2 per building) and a treatment centre (1333m2), on undeveloped lands. Additional construction activities include site clearing and grubbing, installation of water and waste water services, driveway construction and final landscaping.
