Sunrise Drive Road Relocation – Public Comments Invited

April 29, 2025 – Indigenous Services Canada must determine whether the proposed Sunrise Drive Road Relocation project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

To help inform this determination, Indigenous Services Canada is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public and may be posted online.

The Proposed Project

The project will include the upgrading of the existing all-terrain and walking trail to a roadway, which will allow vehicular traffic to access Rocky Point Subdivision. The approximate footprint is 200m x 20m. Project activities include site preparation (clearing and grubbing of the site), construction of new road, installation of watermain and installation of drainage structures.
