CSC97 - Ebb and Flow First Nation Water Supply Line Projec – Public Comments Invited

JUNE 9, 2025 Indigenous Services Canada must determine whether the proposed CSC97 - Ebb and Flow First Nation Water Supply Line Project, located in Ebb and Flow First Nation is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

To help inform this determination, the Indigenous Services Canada is/are inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public and may be posted online.

The Proposed Project

The scope of the Project is to install pumps at, and commission, two (2) existing raw water supply wells - Well 8: KGS-01 and Well 9: KGS-03, (Well 8 and Well 9, respectively), and to install a new raw water supply line from Well 9 to Well 8 and then to the existing EFFN water treatment plant. The proposed new raw water supply line will be an approximately 2,700 m long, 150 mm or 200 mm diameter high density polyethylene (HDPE) line, installed 3 m below ground level.
