2026 Road Repairs – Suffield Industry Range Control Ltd (SIRC) - Canadian Forces Base Suffield

November 25, 2025 — The Department of National Defence must decide whether the proposed project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

To help inform this decision, the Department of National Defence is inviting comments from the public on the project and its potential effects on the environment. The Proposed Project

Suffield Industry Range Control Ltd. (SIRC) is proposing to complete the 2026 annual maintenance of all repairs, maintenance or replacement at Canadian Forces Base (CFB) Suffield including, but not limited to, repairs/replacements of culverts, standard road repairs (grading, gravel / soil application as required etc.), and hydrovacing Texas gates. These are to address rutting, washouts, damages to culverts, Texas gate cleanouts as well as other works deemed to impact road worthiness and safety.
