Notice of time limit suspension with reasons

Ottawa — March 20, 2026 — On March 19, 2026, the Impact Assessment Agency of Canada (IAAC) suspended the 180-day time limit for the planning phase under the Impact Assessment Act for the Lawyers-Ranch Project proposed by Thesis Gold and Silver Inc. (the proponent).

IAAC has taken this action in consideration of a written request from the proponent that the time limit be suspended for up to 50 calendar days in order that it may have sufficient time to provide Indigenous Nations with additional opportunity to provide comments on the Initial Project Description, such that any comments received may be reflected in the Joint Summary of Issues and Engagement.

Following the 50-day suspension period, IAAC will post a notice indicating that the 180-day time limit will resume.
