Sacrificing healthy intact ecological valuable regions For short term gains Comes with hefty costs. One of those costs is the adverse impact on mental health of the people who live in the area and especially who are indigenous to the area. As more Nova Scotians are seized with anxiety over planetary ecocide that threatens all life, the destruction of nature in our own province will further negatively affect our mental health. Destruction of nature especially for gold,  is also part of genocide against indigenous people. It is especially harmful to destroy wetlands and many will be impacted here.
