Agricultural License of Occupation for former Walker Ranch
This is a non-designated project on federal lands or outside Canada. The listed authorities are responsible for the project assessment.
Parks Canada Agency will be issuing a license of occupation for the former Walker Ranch. These lands were part of an operating cattle ranch and residence at the time PCA acquired them. The license will allow the licensee to reside on site and run a domestic livestock operation. Activities include:
-grazing, feeding and moving cattle and/or horses
-feed production and transport
-maintenance of existing infrastructure and installation of temporary infrastructure
-occupying the existing yard
-operating vehicles and equipment for residential and agricultural purposes
This project will be assessed with a basic impact analysis.
