Eskay Creek Revitalization Project: greenwash?

Text

To call the "construction, operation, and closure of an open-pit gold and silver mine" a "revitalization project" is exemplary greenwash.

Regardless of Skeena Resources' proposed benefit to the community in jobs and dollars, Eskay Creek is misnamed.  Why?  The only answer: to seduce with the mask of ecological concern.  Equally, terms such as "Slurry", "Tailings", "Subsidy", and "Tax Leverage" could replace "Revitalization" for other sorts of washing.

The less than honest identification of the project, then, raising suspicion over its integrity.
