  • I have provided the FAAR for Chin, Deadhorse and Snake Lake Reservoir projects for Kipp Range and Trg Area (RTA) 10 minutes west of Lethbridge.   Kipp RTA is located in the Mixed Grass Subregion of the Grassland Natural Region. Kipp RTA is situated approximately 870m ASL within the Oldman River valley. It is situated on surficial fluvial overbank and channel deposits. Surficial deposits consisted of a thin layer (approximately 1m thick) of silty clay with 10% gravel, which fades into the 90% gravel within the fluvial deposits of the Oldman River valley (EBA Engineering, Natural Resource Inventory 2007)   We are actively assessing SAR on the property.   I do not see any potential impacts of these projects on Kipp RTA.   Garry D.
