High Speed Driver Training Track Improvements - Canadian Forces Base (CFB) Borden

The Department of National Defence (DND) has proposed a project which involves the improvement of the High Speed Driver Training Track. The training track is a training area on Canadian Forces Base Borden offering specialized courses in evasive driving skills. The facility is operated by the Canadian Forces Logistics Training Centre and is the only DND facility of its kind in Canada.

Improvements to the track will include:

  • Expansion of road network through various options including new roads, skill/skid pad, realignment of roads, parking area, walkways, and fence.
  • Repairs to existing roadways.
  • Installation of a stormwater management system.

Construction activities are proposed to occur in the fall and early spring to avoid impacting any training activities.
