Nuclear is the most expensive form of electricity generation

Why is Ontario "investing" in nuclear energy generation when there are cheaper, quicker-to-build options like wind and solar with battery storage?

Ontario residents cannot afford the huge price tag of these nuclear projects.  We are already "paying in advance" for these projects.  The idea of being an "energy super power" is old-style thinking.  Who will buy the expensive power we will have to sell?  The whole world has access to the sun and wind options that are free.  Nobody will want the 20+ cents per kw/hour we are generating when they can have power generated at less than 10 cents per kw/hour.

The Ontario government is using the general lack of knowledge about renewables and their promise for the future, to gaslight Ontario residents and claim we need the "clean", reliable energy generated by nuclear.  We are still paying the debt owed on the Darlington nuclear facility.

Stop the madness.
