Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise Cooling Unit Installation

The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise is planning to install a new cooling unit to provide air conditioning to hotel guests. The unit will be installed in their existing footprint, and trenching for supply lines will be through a paved roadway.

3 January 2021 – The public comment period on the project is closed. Parks Canada is considering comments received to help inform its determination on whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
